Life Coach Training for Youth Service PROFESSIONALS
The Youth Life Coach Master Class is designed to equip and certify human service professionals with the tools and resources to help youth succeed. For foster youth that may be their caseworker, foster parent or therapist. For other youth that may be their parent, teacher, or sports coach. In either case youth service professionals need to be equip with the tools to support youth in the most important transitions in their lives.
The Youth Life Coach Master Class is geared to provide human service professionals with life coaching skills that are tailored to support youth transitioning into adulthood. The Life Coach Master Class provides participants with leading edge coaching skills, real-world proven practices, and current research specifically focused on today’s adolescent issues and the transitional needs of youth transitioning out of foster care. This course is a useful tool for those of you who are actively working within a field where you are working directly with youth or seeking to increase your skill set in the youth service arena. The Youth Life Coach Master Class is designed for human service professionals who are in the public and private sectors– foster care, juvenile justice, mental health, after school, and other human service organizations who serve youth ages of 14 and 24 years old. The course focuses on young adults who are transitioning out of the foster care system however, the tools and resources in the program are applicable to populations from a variety of backgrounds. The Life Coach Master Class is tailored help you as the coach tap into those unique abilities of the youth you serve to create internal structures that will give them greater vision for their future and resilience to keep moving forward in the midst of life’s obstacles.
Current independent living skills trainings tend to focus on basic skills youth need to master. The Youth Life Coach Master Class focuses on an internal skill set that will enable clients to take ownership of their decisions and choices for their future. Throughout the program we provide coaches with the tools to help youth build internal structures to move toward various life and educational goals, career aspirations, and relational desires.
This course provides a comprehensive approach to coaching for youth that is aligned with the Casey Life Skills, Transition to Independence Process Model (TIP) and International Coach Federation (ICF) competencies, which utilizes evidenced informed tools, techniques and strategies, and best practices of transitional living models to equip youth service professionals with solid coaching skills and core competencies to propel youth towards their goals.
